A game winner dedicated to October’s Very Own
Prior to Italy’s match with Mexico in the Confederations Cup Mario Balotelli had been sent off in a World Cup qualifier against the Czech Republic. After receiving his two yellow cards Balotelli went ballistic against a wall, but all that is now behind him.
Sunday Balotelli came out to represent his country and boy did he ever. In the 78th minute one of the most polarizing figures in sports scored the game winning goal for his country. The most interesting part was who Balotelli dedicated the goal to, which was Young Money’s Drake.
In the tweet below it seems that Drake’s ‘Started From The Bottom’ record has a special connection with the Italian striker. Italy will take on Japan at 6pm today in their second Confederations Cup match.
this gol is for my bro @Drake !!! STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM NOW WE HERE!!
