To the world Cyrus has been seen in the spotlight as a young girl who acts out every chance she gets, however as she opens up with Ronan Farrow from W Magazine, you see how she is really just trying to find herself.

Twerking along with her new sound and diverse image has kick started the career of a young star trying not to fade. With the other Disney channel actresses bad track record, only a handful have successfully carried their careers after leaving the network, Cyrus tells Farrow that her image is “calculated”.

“I like that I’m associated with sexuality and the kind of punk-rock shit where we just don’t care” says Cyrus on her new hyper-sexual bad girl image. “I don’t give a shit. I’m not Disney” she responds to critics who think her music videos are too sexual and “accessorized with black people”
