Oh Miley, what a pleasant surprise! I must say, like most of the world I wasn’t quite sure what to expect to hear on “Bangerz”. After that “strategic hot mess” performance you spoke of during your MTV documentary ‘Miley: The Movement’, well let’s just say I’m relieved that Bangerz does in fact bang the way it does.

It all makes sense now! Miley knew she was sitting on something unique and refreshing that even her realest of haters would have to check out. Bangerz offers a wild mix of pop, hip-hop, and some country twang, proving Miley is staying true to her roots contrary to what people may think.
Some of the dopest records (not including singles) are ‘Drive’, ‘My Darlin’, ‘FU’, and ‘Someone Else’. & Yes Mike Will Made it all, well 3 of my top 4. There is a record or two I would skip, nevertheless Miley shows her superb vocal talent on them all and even tries her hand at rapping on ‘Do My Thang’. Bangerz features some hip hop relevants: Nelly, Future, Big Sean, Luda, & French Montana. The overall production is ill; Miley should definitely be expecting a lot of YouTube artists to use her instrumentals.
Miley Cyrus is working with a new sound that is pushing forward creativity and blurring the lines of music genres. Today that’s what it should be about. She’s twerking her way to the top whether people like it or not. Y’all can keep those other industry “bad girls”, I’m gonna rock with Miley on this one.
