Stevie J, Steven Jordan, Love and Hip Hop, L&HH, Atlanta, child support, project child support, subpoena, courtStevie J’s legal troubles continue as several high profile names are subpoenaed in his child support case.

The million dollar child support claim against Love & Hip Hop star Stevie J is turning into a million dollar mess for ol’ Stevie boy.

Project Child Support has issued subpoenas to obtain financial records related to his assets, as they seek to recover over a million dollars in unpaid child support.

Nicholas Patullo, an attorney for Project Child Support, has already issued several subpoenas to the following persons and entities:

Joseline Hernandez, wife and cast mate of Love & Hip Hop’s Stevie J

– fellow cast mate Raymond “Benzino” Scott

– the executive producer of Love & Hip Hop, Mona Scott of Monami Productions

– the television network, VH1 and its parent company, Viacom Corporation

– recording labels Sony Music Group, Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group, all whom are either currently or previously doing business with Stevie J.

The founder of Project Child Support, Kai D. Patterson says, “These subpoenas in no way represent any wrongdoing by any of the organizations not managed by or under the control of Mr. Jordan.  They are required to enable us to determine Mr. Jordan’s compensation over the years he failed to comply with his court ordered child support obligations, and how he is currently earning.  They are a necessary step in seizing Mr. Jordan’s assets to pay his unpaid child support, should he not accept the terms we are prepared to offer him to pay his arrears.”

Currently, Stevie J owes more than over $1 million dollars in court ordered child support and has not made any attempt to enter in to a payment plan to bring the child support arrears current and has failed to appear in court.

On March 31, Project Child Support has received confirmation that Bad Boy Entertainment was also served with their copy of the subpoena, which means all of the companies that are responsible for most of Stevie J’s current income have been served.
