This sounds like fun.
Ndamukong Suh has been in the headlines for all the right and wrong reasons in his relatively short NFL career. The All-Pro defensive tackle was heavily touted coming out of the Univerity of Nebraska, and for good reason. Selected by the Detroit Lions with the number two pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Suh immediately began wreaking havoc on the league–starting quarterbacks in particular–sometimes way past the tipping point.
He’s been fined over $200,000 by the league for his reckless on-field behavior, but there’s no denying his talent. In his rookie year, he racked up 10 sacks and just short of 50 tackles, and has pretty much kept up that level of play in all four seasons he’s played in Detroit.
As Jay Z continues to recruit young star-power to his Roc Nation roster–see: Robinson Cano, Geno Smith, Skylar Diggins–rumors of a possible deal with him and Ndamukong Suh possibly reaching a deal surfaced, but nothing tangible has been revealed. Not sure if Jay will be posing with Suh and a bottle of D’usse anytime soon, but respected NFL journalist Adam Schefter has the scoop that something’s brewing.
Lions DT Ndamukong Suh, who fired agents and is hiring new agents, is expected to have Jay-Z and Roc Nation included in circle of advisers.
