Aaron Hernandez is not out of the woods yet
Law enforcement officials have told ABC News that New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the execution style murder of Odin Lloyd.
A teenage jogger had found Lloyd’s body in a clearing of an industrial park which was a mile from Hernandez’s home. A rental car in Hernandez’s name led law enforcement to Hernandez for questioning.
The reason why Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect is from today’s developments. According to ABC News Hernandez’s house was scrubbed by a team of cleaners on Monday while Hernandez handed over a broken phone to law enforcement. The security system at the home was also intentionally broken. Lloyd prior to his death was dating Hernandez’s girlfriend’s sister, Shanea Jenkins. Shanea Jenkins has not been seen since the death of her boyfriend.
To go along with this investigation Hernandez is also being sued by a former friend that is saying Hernandez shot him. The gun shot had resulted in the loss of his right eye. According to the friend Hernandez allegedly owned a gun which he was not licensed to have.
The NFL and the New England Patriots have yet to comment on the investigation. Check back with TheSource.com as this story develops.
