DrieW (Aka Fly Kidd) was born and bred in the (LBC) Long Beach, California. DrieW destiny was nurtured early at age 8, spitting rhymes on the block as cherished childhood moments with his Dad. DrieW game-changing moment emanated from watching a middle school rap performance, with a vision he had the talent to be up there too. His natural determination came into play crafting his MC skills. From spectator to participator, he began sacrificing his first day of high school to perform on tour for kids at other schools.

DrieW stylistic calling card is that of the skate fanatic laced in Vans who can pulse out rapid-fire staccato verses that glide on top of a beat akin to his awe-inspiring boarding skills. He sees himself leading a new regeneration of rap, paying homage to retro West Coast beats while drawing deep within to chronicle fresh stories.
