images-1Chicago MC Common recruited TDE rapper Ab-Soul for his single, “Made In Black America.” Common is at his best when he inspires listeners to embrace their blackness.  “I’m more than a hot song or hot album/Ask my ex/I still live on like Malcolm,” The Chiraq MC raps.

It makes sense for Ab-Soul to ride the beat with Common. At times, Ab-Soul can come off as anti-government and inspiring.  On the No I.D.-produced track, the TDE MC sticks to his usual formula of political wittiness with rhymes like, “My president is black/I wonder if Pac thought we was ready for that?”

“Made In Black America” will be featured on Common’s upcoming album Nobody’s Smiling. Listen to the track below.
