Drake’s label is expanding

Drake‘s OVO Sound label, which is housed under Warner Bros and features artists and producers such as PARTYNEXTDOOR, Nineteen85, Majid Jordan, and OBO Brien, among other, lesser known artists, may have just introduced its’s newest artist. In an interview with Vibe towards the end of last year, Drake made it clear he was taking his time adding a rapper to his new label imprint, understanding that artist would be a direct reflection of him, considering he’s at the peak point of his career.

Jimmy Johnson may be the inaugural rhyme spitter. While no official announcement has been made, the Eric Dingus–who was featured on OVO’s blog after his “Worst Behaviour” remix was discovered by 40–produced track was debuted on October’s Very Own last night, with no caption. Johnson’s In God We Trust is expected later this year.
