Is MTV’s ‘Wild N Out’ back on air?

Comedian/actor Nick Cannon, has decided to revive his television show “Wild N Out” and leave his Top 40 radio show “Cannon’s Countdown.”

Transitioning from television to radio, Cannon is now realizing that television and music is more like home to him. Although he’ll be leaving his radio show to revive “Wild N Out,”  Cannon made a statement saying he’ll be back on the radio soon, this time through his own music.

Mariah Carey‘s hubby is all about business and what makes him happy, which is why he’d like to dedicate his time to his company “NCredible Entertainment.”

“I am extremely grateful to have had a broadcast home with CBS Radio,” Cannon said. “It has been an amazing experience working with the team these past few years. I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from my on air duties in radio in order to have the time to dedicate to NCredible Entertainment and the various projects that I have on my plate in film, TV, retail and a new album. It is my plan to return to radio and my listeners very soon through my music.”

NCredible Entertainment was founded by Nick Cannon back in September 2009 and has quickly become a powerhouse brand in the entertainment industry. This company follows behind many television projects, such as, Teen Nick’sThe Nightlife,” (a dance show for young teens), Cartoon NetworksThe Crew” and will be a part of the new season for MTV’s improv comedy “Wild N Out.”

A new season of Nick Cannon‘s “Wild N Out” will start airing on July 9 on MTV, a month before Cannon’s last radio broadcast on June 8.

As a result, Nick Cannon will still be the host for  “America’s Got Talent,” and rumored to be playing the roles of rappers Freeway and Rick Ross, in an upcoming biopic about the drug lord.

Stay tuned for more Nick Cannon as he rekindles with what made him famous in the first place, television.
