Nigel-Sylvester-x-Nike-SB-Dunk-High-SOMP

It’s been a long time coming. Renowned BMW rider, Nigel Sylvester is finally moving up the ranks with Nike.

For years now, Sylvester has been holding down Nike’s 6.0 line as one of his many endorsements. Well, now he has been able to design a pair of Nike SB dunks titled, “S.O.M.P.”. The name, “S.O.M.P.” is an acronym for Standing On My Pedals. Nike SB is known to incorporate some of the best possible materials when creating a shoe built for performance. In the process, they almost always have a great crossover effect for non-skaters. As far as this shoe itself, the bulk of the upper is made from Euphoria nubuck, which is commonly used on Bespoke Air Force 1′s. Along the eyelets and also around the ankle there are hints of Nike’s historic elephant print. Everything is brought together by a white midsole, a gum outsole and a silver swoosh along the middle, which gives the shoe an Oakland Raider’s feel.

So far, the Queens native is the only BMX-er with his own SB Dunk, trendsetting yet again. Be sure to check these out at your local SB Dealer on March 8th.
