With the 2014 NBA All-Star game a few weeks away, it’s only right Nike decided to unveil their All-Star pack of sneakers that will honor the host city, New Orleans.  Nike dubbed the set of kicks “The 2014 NOLA Gumbo League Collection” featuring Nike’s biggest sports stars which include  LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant who have sneakers in the collection.

They will each feature glow-in-the-dark material, which Nike has over used over the last year. LeBron James’ sneaker is inspired by alligator, which in New Orleans is know as “the king of the bayou,” while the colorway pays homage to the city of New Orleans.

Kobe Bryant’s sneakeris a tribute to jazz musicians, and also pays honor to Bryant’s ability to improvise.

Kevin Durant’s sneaker ”celebrates the magic of his versatility.”  The hand designs and drawing represent Durant’s fluidity on the court. And it’s all in perfect timing as since Durant is on a hot streak of  scoring 30 points in 11 games during the month of January.

The collection will be available in stores on February 14.
