After making the big announcement way back in January, we finally get a glance of the collaboration between Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci and sneaker company Nike. The two will release and present the 2014 spring collection for the Nike+ R.T. collection.
Riccardo has always talked about how he is a fan of Nike Air Force ones and has worn them for the last 15 years, being in the high-end fashion business Riccardo’s go to shoe has always been Air Forces 1′s always keeping it simple. When Nike called the director on getting together he already had in mind what he wanted to design, his favorite sneaker the Air Force One.
The collection will include four assortments of Air Force 1′s, which will be the Hi and Boot The Nike + R.T. Air Force 1 Low will cost $230, and the Nike + R.T. Air Force 1 Mid is priced at $260. The Nike + R.T. Hi—a three quarters shoe—will cost $320 and the Nike + R.T. Boot comes in at $340. We also get a look at new colorway in the collection, which will be a black/brown colorway. The already announced white colorway will see a release date of March 21 at very select retailers in London, Milan, New York, Paris and Berlin. As for the black/brown colorway it will be released in April with no date for a launch as of yet.
