“Did you feel heat?”

Dude: “Damn, I was gonna get an apartment over there, too.”

Gal: “Not now.”

Same Dude: “They’re cheaper now.”

In what looked like a scene straight out of an action movie, a construction worker was miraculously saved Tuesday afternoon (March 25)  from a burning apartment complex in Houston, Texas by several firefighters. What is said to have started out as a small fire began to engulf  the entire roof of the building in flames-  and fortunately not claiming any lives. Though all were taken out safely, one man feared for his life as he had to bust a parkour-like move to help save himself from being burned alive by the massive flames.

Screams and gasps and “Oh my gawwd”s can be heard throughout the video recorded from workers across in another building. The heat rose and debris fell as the spectators watched the construction worker wait for the Houston Fire Department to reach him. And just when you thought he was safe, as he neared one of the firefighters part of the roof began to collapse, just mere feet from where the two men were in the air. Once again, however, he dodged a bullet flame and escaped safe and sound.

The universe was definitely on his side that day. Special thanks goes to the Houston Fire Department for preventing what could have been a horrible fatality. Watch them save the day above.
