Some day we may see this kid dunking on the college, but its going to be some time before we get to see that.
Shemar Morrow form Akron, Ohio, the same place as NBA super star LeBron James. The reason it may take some time is because Shemar is only in the sixth grade. Which means nothing today as the sixth grader threw down a dunk which seemed too easy for him.
The National Youth Basketball League game went down on Saturday night in Washington, D.C. The game had entered double overtime when Morrow performed the now viral dunk. What’s even more amazing than the dunk Morrow is that he also dropped 53 points in the double OT game. Don’t be surprised if colleges and universities are already attempting to recruit the youngin’. If he decides to continue playing basketball into his teens, he will be apart of the 2020 recruiting class. That’s a long way until we see him wearing a college basketball jersey.
After performing the dunk the referees handed him a technical for dunking. Most youth leagues prohibit players from dunking and if performed the team receives a technical foul. Before the dunk went viral, Morrow was known around the city as Baby LeBron.
