This past Saturday Oprah hosted a yard sale in Santa Barbara. Her goal was to declutter her homes in Chi-Town, Indiana, & Hawaii while raising money for her girls’ leadership academy in South Africa. She auctioned off antiques, art, and miscellaneous furniture bringing in more than $600,000. Even the most impractical items were selling for more than 3 and 4 times their original cost, just so fans could have a piece of Oprah’s legacy.

Talk about raising money!
