Since new Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer has taken over, her sole mission is to bring Yahoo back to the glory days. While that may not happen over night, the CEO has been picking up a few upstart companies to add to Yahoo’s huge portfolio.  On Monday the company went full steam ahead and picked website/company Tumblr.

In the last 20 year or so, Yahoo has gobbled up some 80 companies. But since taking over the CEO seat, Marissa Mayer, has purchased 11 within the year she’s been the CEO and doesn’t seem she plans on slowing down anytime soon. Having her eyes set on taking on Google as the #1 search engine company, Yahoo looks to counter and think ahead of its main competitor. Let’s look at Yahoo’s big deals over the last 15 years.
