Who doesn’t love pandas, seriously?

Pharrell alongside his comrades, Bape creator Nigo, and Pusha T, have all joined an art initiative to help the conservation of pandas. The “I AM HERE” art project is the brainchild of Hong Kong-based curators AllRightsReserved, their photographer Leslie Kee and creative consultant Sean Kunjambu. ARR enlisted artist Lawrence Argent to craft panda sculptures, 40-cm in stature, all of which were sent out to be personally designed by twenty handpicked trendsetters worldwide. Pharrell outfitted his panda in rolled up jeans and a button-up shirt bearing similarity to his established style of dress, Y-3 creator Yohji Yamamoto went with a more psychedelic vision, while Pusha T of course draped his Panda in all gold.

The pandas have been on display at the “He-ART For Panda” installation and later auctioned off for donation to the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda. Check out the behind the scenes video for the project above and the designers with their pandas in the pages below.
