It’s a new day in NY
The current New York Knicks season looked to be all but lost as of the beginning of March, but a 6 game win streak and the continued play of outside-shot MVP candidate Carmelo Anthony has NY’s original home team on the verge of saving more than just their season–Melo and Mike Woodson may be renewing the leases on their NYC apartments should the Knicks still be playing ball in late April.
Today’s press conference looks to add a second upswing to the team’s current affairs. Phil Jackson was introduced moments ago as the new president of the New York Knicks–it was announced last week that he was expected to take a front office position with the team–and the former Knick player, and 11-time NBA champion had some choice quotes for the crowd at the MSG press conference, which will be re-airing tonight.
