Some people get to a point in their lives where the world as they know it changes. Success, loss, or whatever unforeseeable force it is, can challenge how you live your life for the years to come. For Pennsylvania emcee Choo Jackson, the choice is obvious-keep doing himself. With a lazy synth beat and equally trippy visuals, Choo rides through his neighborhood a new man, ready to embrace all the ups and downs. There’s a reason Mac Miller signed him to his REMember label.

We hope everyone takes away some message from the video, whatever it may be. Whether it’s realizing that fighting with your friends helps no one or cherishing the one life that you have, listen to what Choo’s mom always told him: “N*gga, you gotta try.”

Be on the look out for his sophomore project, Slightly Dark sooner than later, which will house this mind altering, yet inspirational single.
