Love is difficult to explain. It’s best understood when experienced first hand. For those who may have not had that fortunate yet, let Damani share with you how he sees and feels it. The love he describes in the first single of his upcoming album, Thoughtful King, is as basic to survival as bread and water, can inspire masses of people toward one action, and of course, it conquers all. It’s a lot of things and it’s one thing-something special.

The video features Damani with a certain somebody special in Paris, along with shots of the city and others who share various types of love. The track is mainly produced by Warryn Campbell, with a hook provided by Musiq Soulchild and a great keyboard solo from Robert Glasper. You can purchase the track HERE. So do yourself and your significant other, and get yourself a copy. You can catch some behind the scenes footage below when Damani recorded it with Musiq.

Since leaving Sony, Damani has traveled the world and is finally ready to release his album, whose title is the direct translation of his name. The Inglewood rapper has us looking forward to the rest of the project, which drops sooner than later. The album also features Young Money artist and Maroon 5 Keyboardist PJ Morton, BJ the Chicago Kid, and others. Executive production credits go to Warryn Campbell.
