Prodigy comes to Kendrick Lamar’s defense from the backlash after his verse on “Control.”
The infamous, one-half of Mobb Deep, Prodigy took to Twitter to silence the backlash aimed at Kendrick Lamar for his verse on Big Sean’s “Control.”
Well known by now, even though the track surfaced LAST NIGHT, Kendrick aggressively claimed to be king of New York which sparked controversy and comparisons on why he’s right and wrong.
Joell Ortiz recently released a response track entitled “Outta Control,” aiming to dethrone the self-claimed king of New York. This is surly will not be the last of responses, but Prodigy took to Twitter to express his feelings on Kendrick and his bold statement.
Prodigy credited Kendrick for his undeniable dominance on the track as well as a fair warning to fans and stans alike claiming “you don’t want it,” referring to previous East Coast vs. West Coast beefs.
