Earlier this week, Delicious Vinyl producer Jansport J dropped his sixth instrumental album, The Soul Provider. The California artist exudes the West Coast vibes in his mixture of J Dilla, Pete Rock, Madlib, DJ Premier, and 9th Wonder. Somehow he’s managed to put together a solid LP while performing at the Paid Dues festival and working with Snoop Dogg, Ab-Soul, DOM Kennedy, Glasses Malone, and Freddie Gibbs. Take a listen above and watch the newest video below, most likely inspired by all the crazy parties he’s DJ’d and Don Cornelius’ Soul Train.
You can buy a digital copy of the album HERE . Those who want to add it to their physical collection can do that HERE.
And if you didn’t already know, we premiered his video for “Shoulders” along with the announcement of his Delicious Vinyl deal. You can catch that HERE.
