King Push & King Kendrick Walk The Solemn Compton Streets In Latest Visual
Pusha T‘s album, My Name Is My Name, has been garnering a lot of positive attention in the recent weeks leading up to its October 8th release. The full album went up for streamed listening a couple of days ago (eventually leaking later that night) and the overwhelming response has been approving. One of the most talked about songs on the LP is his collaboration with TDE frontman Kendrick Lamar. The song has a throwback, bare-bones feel, void of a proper hook and relying on a KRS-One sample to hold the two, quotable-laced verses together. The video is equally as brash. It’s a one-shot, black and white visual that captures the essence of Boyz In The Hood‘s “Ya Wanna See A Dead Body?” scene to the tee.
Check out the video and cop Pusha’s album when it drops next Tuesday.
