The Cocaine Cowboys Give Us Thug Motivation

We took you behind the scenes of the Dre Films-directed video last week, but now Pusha T has released his Rick Ross-assisted visual in full and it does not disappoint. Pusha T, who has been on an all-out promotional assault, releasing videos for “King Push”, “Sweet Serenade”, and “Nosetalgia” featuring Kendrick Lamar, among others from his solo debut album, My Name Is My Name, gives us perhaps the most touching and encouraging video yet with “Hold On”.

The video conjures images of Push-a-Ton and The Bawse playing the role of motivational speakers, giving game to lost souls who have stumbled along the way. Towards the end of the video, shirts emblazoned with the faces of lost Hip-Hop loved ones like Def Jam executive Shakir Stewart and budding MMG affiliate Lil Snupe grace their respective friends and family in memoriam. Take a look at the heartfelt vid above and grab Pusha’s MNIMN here.
