Pusha T is keeping the promotional momentum going for his debut album “My Name Is My Name”
In a five-minute video, the Virginia emcee breaks down the meaning behind his infectious single “King Push” with Jay Z’s Life and Times site. In an abandoned building, Push recites his own lyrics and then later explains the meaning behind them.
Clad in all black and his trademark cornrows, the former d-boy says the song is a declaration. After 10 years in the game, the majority of which was spent as one-half of the hip-hop duo The Clipse–Push is ready to tell the world who is and is declaring that his musical debut is album of the year.
