Questlove just announced the official lineup for the 7th annual Roots Picnic, and this year, Snoop Dogg will be headlining the Philadelphia festival.

Pssssst! Maybe you thought you were already burned out on all the line-up announcements of the summer music festival season. But maybe you were mistaken. Because only one music festival has Snoop Dogg backed by The Roots! Yup. Let me spell that out for you again: The Big Snoop D-O-double-Gizzle backed by the Legendizzle Rizzle. At the 7th Annual Roots Pizzle in Illadizzl. In standard english that’s the Festival Pier on Penn’s Landing, Philadelphia, PA. As ever Roots Picnic goes down on the offical-unofficial first day of summer which this year means Saturday, May 31st.
