On Monday, November 25, The Staples Center in L.A. was the place to be. Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Birdman were a few of the heavy hitters who joined Drake on stage at his latest “Would You Like a Tour?” concert event.
Future opened up the evening festivities followed by Miguel who made all the ladies swoon with his charm and smooth demeanor. Jhené Aiko also took the stage last night. Soon after, Drake hit the stage and did not hold back.
The Toronto native performed solo before introducing his first special guest, none other than Birdman, who performed “Still Fly.” Fans were in for a big surprise when Nicki Minaj joined Drake on stage for “Make Me Proud,” followed by an appearance from West Coast legend Snoop Dogg, who turned it up for L.A. with “The Next Episode,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang,” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”. Drake expressed his appreciation for his newly found mentor. Other highlights from the show included Drakes performances of “Successful,” “Wu-Tang Forever,” “Come Thru,” and “Worst Behavior.”
Throughout the show Drake continued to express how good it was to be back in his second home and the feeling was mutual as the crowd was yelling and cheering for the rapper, as his closed the show with “Started From the Bottom.”
Sighting: New BFF’s Khloe Kardashian and Nicki Minaj were seen out and about together last night at Philippe in Beverly Hills, following the Drake concert. Scott Disick joined Nicki and Khloe alongside a large entourage for dinner where they were seated in one of the private dining rooms and indulged on signature dishes such as the salt & pepper prawns, chicken satays and vegetable spring rolls. The newfound friendship was apparent as the two, who share the same celebrity makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli who was also with the group, were seen leaving the restaurant together hand-in-hand before getting in separate cars and calling it a night.
