kevin-durant-oklahoma-city-thunderRoc Nation Sports has already made tons of headlines but this might be the biggest yet.  Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has left his agency, Landmark Sports and is expected to join Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports, reports the Sports Business Journal.

If the deal goes through Durant will join New York Yankees second basemen Robinson Cano, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith and Tulsa Shock guard Skylar Diggins.  Roc Nation Sports is a joint venture between Jay-Z and the powerful CAA (Creative Arts Agency).

Durant 24, was second in the NBA in scoring this season and averaged 28.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 51% from the field.

Durant also dabbles in a rap career.  He’s released a couple of performance videos and joined fellow NBA player Stephen Jackson on a track.  It’s thought that many stars are joining Roc Nation Sports in order to further their off the court endeavors and for Durant rapping could be one of them.
