Finally, Rick Ross gets a release date.
Rick Ross‘ 6th album, Mastermind, powered by the street singles “Box Chevy” and the Future-featured “No Games” will officially be released on December 17th according to a tweet the MMG headmaster very recently let go to his personal account.
Mastermind. 4th Quarter. Takeover. Its Over. Get Ready. 12/17 pic.twitter.com/EozN537EAU

The announcement comes just after his rap group’s compilation album, Self Made 3, debuted in the top 5 on the Billboard 200. Ross is hoping to capitalize on his and his comrades very formidable successes on the charts as of late–both Wale and Meek Mill‘s recent albums sold at least 150,000 in their first week on the shelves–especially God Forgives, I Don’t, which went Gold within weeks of its release and is inching towards platinum status. The 4th quarter just got that much more interesting.
