While only a few lucky people get to attend the MTV VMAs next Sunday, Time Warner Cable and MTV have teamed up to bring the party to the fans outside of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for a free pre-VMA show that Robin Thicke will headline this Friday, August 23rd at Terminal 5.
The special concert will benefit Lifebeat – Music fights HIV/AIDS, a national nonprofit focused on educating America’s youth about HIV/AIDS prevention. The event is part of a series of VMAs-themed week concerts and events taking place across New York City and Brooklyn leading up to the 2013 “MTV Video Music Awards” live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday, August 25 at 9:00pm ET/CT.
