The MMG Rapper Details Friendship, Shared Interests With British Pop Star 

 

Rockie Fresh, the Chicago emcee and latest signee to Rick Ross‘ Maybach Music Group, and Ed Sheeran, the singer-songwriter from across the pond who’s been making major waves in the U.S. as of late, wouldn’t immediately strike you as best buds, but according to Fresh the two have hit it off marvelously since meeting through a mutual friend. “We got a mutual friend who knows how similar we are,” Rockie stated. “He introduced us and me and Ed are both a fan of each other’s music, so it was a smooth thing.”

Since being linked up by the shared acquaintance, Rockie and Sheeran have been seen purchasing copies of MMG’s Self Made, Vol. 3 album together and Rockie said he made sure to plug Ed in with the bawse, Ricky Rozay. Rockie also spoke on a collaboration between the two on the musical front. While mum on specifics, Fresh did call the up coming collaboration “something special”.
