Rolling Stone presents The Gangster In The Huddle
Former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez has been dominating headlines all summer. Last week Aaron Hernandez was indicted on charges last week that included first degree murder.
Rolling Stone has recently published a story looking in to the troubled life of Aaron Hernandez. The title of said piece wears the label The Gangster In The Huddle.
The story highlights the family, gun, drug, and violence problems that have influenced Hernandez’s life. According to the story Hernandez began smoking marijuana on his way home from games, plus the use of PCP. Hernandez ultimately convinced himself that his life was in danger at all times which resulted in him carrying a gun everywhere he went.

In exclusive conversations with Rolling Stone, those friends, who insisted they not be named, say Hernandez was using the maniacal drug angel dust, had fallen in with a crew of gangsters and convinced himself that his life was in danger, carrying a gun wherever he went. Sources close to the tight end add that throughout the spring, when players are expected to be preparing themselves for the marathon NFL season, Hernandez had missed workouts and sessions with a rehab trainer, and had been told by his head coach, Bill Belichick, that he was one misstep from being cut.
