When your music is strong enough, sometimes the extra smoke and mirrors can take away from the raw emotion or talent. Not to say the visuals from Kanye’s “Bound 2″ video wouldn’t have added something, not exactly sure what, but the simple video of Ryan singing to a girl about looking towards the future and not the past does just enough justice to the honest songwriting.
