If you aren’t familiar with British singer/songwriter Sampha, the majestic voice crooning on Drake’s celebrated ”Too Much,” you are making a huge mistake. He is already in possession of a critically acclaimed catalog, having worked with British DJ/Producer Subtrkt and releasing his own EP, entitled Dual. Now that the major collaborations are finished for the moment, he has gone back to focusing on his own career and he started in a big way. This morning he released his newest video, “Happens,” putting his talents on full display. Sampha sings to distant lover, who seems to be moving past him. His dramatic tone and percesion on the keys will rip your heart right out of your chest.
