The new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android enthusiasts excited and Samsung loyalists boasting and bragging. This combination phone-tablet is definitely representing the Samsung family well. Similar in size to its predecessor, the Note, the Note 3 bares a slightly larger screen (5.7 inches compared to 5.5), a thinner and narrower body and it is also much lighter. The new dimensions make the Note 3 a more comfortable fit in your hand. Alike its cousin, the Galaxy S4, the Note 3 is packed with apps, Android and Samsung, that add ease, organization and fun to daily life. There are programs for voice recognition, fitness, translation, note-taking and lots more. But you will notice that the software and programs in the Note 3 are a bit scaled back [compared to the Note 2]; more user friendly, somewhat refined. To put it best, the Samsung Galaxy Note has grown up.
Can you imagine carrying a mini Samsung HDTV in your pocket? Well dream no more because that is exactly what you get with the Galaxy Note 3. With contrast and clarity that are unmatched and bright, brilliant colors the screen on the Galaxy Note 3 is downright amazing. Samsung is known for screen quality on their televisions and they have definitely translated that quality to the Note 3.
The Note has been a favorite among Droidians because of its stylus, the S pen. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better Samsung revamped the stylus feature, making each even more cool than before. Handwriting is as precise as a paper and pen and the option of converting handwriting to text is a must have for the type/text challenged. No more worrying about hitting the wrong keys. Using favorite S Pen features is a breeze with the Air Command widget. And don’t worry about losing your stylus. This Smartphone alerts you before you can leave your stylus behind.
The Note 3 is as stunning inside as it is on the outside. A quad-core, 2.3-GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and 3 gigabytes of RAM accompanies either 32-GB or 64-GB of storage (your choice) and a micro-SD slot providing up to 64 GB of additional storage. Now that’s memory! And of course, with access to Google Drive, Drop Box and other “cloud” storage apps, the Note 3 gives you everything you need at your fingertips.
Last but certainly not least, The Note 3 joins forces with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. For all those who dreamed of having spy gear like Jason Stratham in Transporter, here’s your chance! Make calls, check e-mail and even take pictures and videos, even control music, all with the flick of a wrist, literally. Together this dynamic duo smart “phablet” and smart watch are turning Samsung users from brand loyal to brand spoiled. It doesn’t get much better than this.
