The Brand New Guys are back at again, A$AP Rocky and ScHoolboy Q hop on a bonus track from the latter’s recently released debut album, Oxymoron. Entitled “Californication,” both emcee trade verses over a menacing synthesizer driven beat that just sounds like evil intentions. It is a six minute long barrage of swag and lyrical destruction, closely resembling the in your face vibe of “Brand New Guys”, their first collaboration.
If you didn’t know, Rocky and Q are eating good nowadays. Even though they are in good places in their career, they are still hungry for whatever you have and they will quickly put on their masks to take it. Even though it is named after California, which is typically thought of as a laid back weed haven, there is nothing chill at all about this song. It is no holds bar right from the beginning. Why this is a bonus track and not on the album, escapes us, but just be happy you can enjoy it below.
