Nas with a cigarLast night, NAS hosted the Hennessy V.S event at Vanquish in Atlanta and he came ready to party.

The legendary rapper was in a great mood, arriving at Vanquish at about 1:30 am with a ton of energy and an entourage of about 10 people. Shortly after his arrival,  12 bottles came to his table led by 8 Hennessy luminous bottles and Hennessy models. Nas appeared to have a great time smoking his cigar, dancing, laughing & joking with his friends all night. I went over & spoke with him about our involvement with Hennessy and he expressed the love for the brand and how proud he is to be apart of it. Other celebrities in attendance included producer Jazze Phae and Ashlee Simpson & Evan Ross who were spotted holding hands, flirting with each other and dancing. At one point Evan and Ashley went over together and greeted NAS with handshakes & hugs.

Thursday evening, A$AP Ferg dined at TAO Asian Bistro with friends. The group fueled up for the night ahead with several signature dishes before celebrating the recent release and growing success of his debut album “Trap Lord” at TAO Nightclub.  Shortly after taking over a VIP table on the dance floor, A$AP Ferg treated partygoers to an exuberant performance of hits “Work” and “Shaba.” As he took the stage, cell phones flew into the air and the crowd excitedly jumped to the beat, echoing his lyrics. After closing out his performance, he encouraged everyone to join him in keeping the party going, stating, “Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, right? Let’s turn up like there’s no tomorrow! Feel free to come party with me. We’re in Vegas now.” The rapper then returned to his table where he took in the club’s atmosphere and enjoyed the sounds of DJ Five.

yuna-nocturnal-album-cover-400x400Mixing quirky with clunky and making it all look good was 26 year old singer Yuna who took the stage last night at SoHo House West Hollywood, an exclusive member only bar/restaurant/lounge/awesomeness, right off the historic Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. Her set began around 10:30pm giving all in attendance enough time to let the drinks flow in. As soon as she started singing, all conversations ended and eyes locked in on the staggeringly excellent singer. Her band kept everyone’s head bobbing to live renditions of her first single “Falling” and the breezy, upbeat “I Wanna Go.” After her performance last night, Yuna’s confidence is sure to be sky high as her new album, “Nocturnal,” drops later this month on the 29th on Verve Music Group. The 11 track album also features “Rescue,” produced by English pop auteur Chris Braide and “Someone Who Can,” produced by Chad Hugo of the Neptunes.  -Hakeem Animashaun
