The powder blue colorway is Jordan Brand‘s way of paying tribute to MJ‘s alma mater, University of North Carolina. This is one of the most talked about sneakers for 2014 so far because this is the first time the Jordan III is being released in an all powder blue colorway.

The sneaker’s upper is covered with power blue with hits of black on the tongue, eyelets, laces, midsole and the elephant print overlays and on the heel.  A touch of wolf grey can be found on the inner lining, sole and on the Jumpman logo. Look for Jordan III “Powder” to hit retailers Nike, Eastbay, Foot Locker, Foot Action Champs Sports on January 18.
