This colorway of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II is best known as the “Turbo Green” edition. They come in a white, turbo green, neutral grey and deep black colorway, all on top of a white-based later upper with hits of get, black and turbo green and hits of tennis ball yellow on the sneaker’s sole.
The Nike Air Tech Challenge II has been a very successful sneaker for Nike Sportswear in 2014, and with the release of the Hot Lava and Clay Blue colorway it’s no surprise Nike would release multiple colorways of the popular shoe. The sneaker was worn by Tennis great Andre Agassi during his hay days on the court.
While the sneaker has seen some retros in the past the sneaker received plenty attention in recent times thanks to rapper Kanye West borrowing the shoes midsole for his own Yeezy 2 sneaker, and Nike decided it was a great time to rerelease the sneaker again to the masses. It’s not a limited release so expect them to fly off shelves. They’re already available at sneaker stores like a Few store and Premier.
