A few weeks ago Nike announced they would celebrate 27 years of Air Max innovation on March 26.

Sneakerheads and celebs took to Twitter and Instagram to show off what air max sneaker they wore to celebrate the day and occasion.

Just a few weeks ago, soon to be drafted quarterback  Johnny Manziel signed with Nike. Today he gears up for his NFL Pro Day to wow some NFL scouts to prove he is a worthy #1 pick. Before hitting the field today the QB helped his new sponsors at Nike celebrate “Air Max Day.” In one of the marketing campaigns for the brand Manziel is seen wearing and promoting the Flyknit Air Max.

The Nike football ad puts Manziel on a track and field were he is fully equipped with Nike gear from head to toe. The ad is suppose is in conjunction to promote Manziel the football player and of course “Air Max Day.”  The kicks he sports in the ad is Nike’s new Flyknit Air Max which is apart of the  Air Max line of sneakers, which features knitted upper and 360 Air Unit.

Also celebrating the day was Nike athlete and NY Giant Victor Cruz who went to Instagram to show off his Air Max 3/26 Air Max 1. Other celebs like Clark Kent and J.R. Smith celebrated via Instagram. Let’s take a look of what they wore to celebrate the day.
