High end kicks for a semi-low price.
You won’t be spending $1500 on these Maison Margielas (*cue Future*), but they’re definitely not the inexpensive pair of Converse you’re used to buying. The two brands are teaming up once again to design a few pairs of Converse’s Chuck Taylor & Jack Purcell models for their 2014 collection. All dipped in white paint, as they chip you see the Amber Glow & True Navy colors on the Chuck Taylors, & the Azure Blue & Viking Red hues on the Purcells.
“We’re pleased to offer a new expression of such a great collaboration between Converse and the Maison. The story of two like-minded brands continues with the evolution of the sneaker collection where personal expression is at the forefront, revealing the expression of vibrant colors shining through an incognito white coat that ages with time.” –Maison Martin Margiela (Source: NIKE, Inc.)
