Yesterday marked the official release date of Dom Kennedy‘s much anticipated album, Get Home Safely.The project which has been in the works for quite some time, takes Dom Kennedy back to his beloved Los Angeles, which is the theme for this new LP.
During his quick promo run in New York City last weekend, the OPM leader stopped by The Source to speak about his new project, a very confident Dom had this to say about Get Home Safely:
“I made this album in my heart feeling like this might be the last great rap album that people will ever hear.”
Dom also spoke to us about his Los Angeles Dodgers and their chances of beating the Cardinals in the NLCS. His thoughts on Matt Kemp coming back strong next season, and how he applies the skills he picked up in his early baseball days to his music.
