The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the worldwide leader in performance royalties, service and advocacy for songwriters, composers and music publishers, hosted their 5th annual Grammy Nominee Brunch on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the SLS Beverly Hills. The event kicked off their 100th Anniversary year long celebration, honoring ASCAP members who are nominated at the 56th annual Grammy Awards, including JAY Z, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Drake, 2Chainz, Mary Mary, Bruno Mars, The National, Lorde, Robin Thicke and more. The 5th annual Grammy Nominee Brunch was sponsored by City National Bank, Malibu RED, Moreno, AKOO Clothing Co. and Uber. Guests were treated to a decadent assortment of breakfast delights and choice beverages provided by Malibu RED, Moreno Champagne, and Avita Alkaline Water. Guests enjoyed the interactive AKOO Clothing Co. photo and gifting booth and were able to take away a few goodies, which included: Book of Kings Vol 1 by AKOO, Tom’s Sunglasses, Doucee Makeup Packages, Avita Alkaline Water, Gift certificates from Eye for Design and gift cards from Uber and Philippe Chow (Beverly Hills). Ne-Yo said you can look out for his new album in the middle of this year. He said he is going back to his R&B roots. ASCAP President Paul Williams also reflected on being a grammy nominee.
