Slow it down for a minute

Stephen Marley has been busy in the studio creating some somber tunes. The son of Bob Marley comes back with rapper Black Thought in “Throne Or A Rose”. Rolling Stone premiered the soulful track claiming it “weighs in on 21st century race relations and staying true to yourself amidst a laconic, jazzy
backdrop.”

The mellow track is just the first sound we’re hearing from his upcoming body of work that is set to drop soon. Marley plans on expanding on the impact of Jamaican music on all genres, especially Hip-Hop. Revelation Part 2: The Fruit of Life is the follow-up to his 2012 Grammy-winning Revelation Part I: The Root of Life. Expect that project to drop sometime this summer.
