Nash-awesome-pass

It’s really been a bad season for the Los Angeles Lakers, but the team still has a high note since Steve Nash was able to move up on the assists list surpassing New York great and current coach Mark Jackson. The question for Steve Nash’s future is will he be a Laker next season to move up on the list.

His fifth assist of the night was a pass to Jodie Meeks on a fast break for a open lay up. Moving Nash up on the list to number 3 all-time  giving him  10,335 for his career.

Steve Nash was subbed out of the game a minute later after the play, the 18 year pro received a standing ovation from the crowd at the Staples Center acknowledging the achievement.

That play could be the last time the two time MVP sees a NBA court this season or perhaps in his storied career.

Nash finished the game with three points, five assists and three rebounds in 13 minutes with the Lakers, the outcome wasn’t so grand as the Lakers lost the game 145-130 to the Rockets. Steve Nash didn’t  play in the second half as he injured his hamstring when he tried to “open up and sprint” early in the game.

If we never see Steve Nash ever play another basketball ever again we can always relive his greatest passes while he played for the Phoenix Suns in his prime years.
