This deal just made history
Tamron Hall, 43, has been named a co-host of Today’s Take this morning, making her the first African American woman to co-anchor the program. She will be joining hosts Al Roker, Natalie Morales and Willie Geist during the 9 a.m. segment.
Hall, who has contributed regularly to the show as a fill-in host, has covered events such as the Golden Globes and social media news in the Orange Room, the Today digital studio.
The Texas-born correspondent will continue with her current position as a side anchor for MSNBC and host of the program NewsNation with Tamron Hall. The Temple University graduate worked for news station WFLD-TV in Chicago from 1997 to 2007, covering Chicago politics and other city news.
