It’s Charlie Murphy and he’s back to star in a new series

If you were a fan of the Chappelle Show, I’m sure you remember the segment “Charlie Murphy True Hollywood Stories.” It was only a matter of time till he was back with his witty personality and storytelling.

Aaron McGruder, the creator of the outspokenly funny series The Boondocks, will have  Charlie Murphy star in the new live-action series Black Jesus.

The plot  features Jesus in present day Compton, CA on daily missions of spreading love throughout Compton with his followers. Kind of a peculiar setting for a show, so lets see how this pans out.
