Watch your mouth!
From the looks of it, the NFL plans to penalize players for the use of racial slurs during play on the field.
John Wooten, who is the head of the Fritz Pollard Alliance which governs diversity in the league announced he expects changes regarding language on the field.
John Wooten expects the league to enforce the rule in which, players would be penalized 15 yards if the used the “N-word” term on the field. Regarding the word, John Wooten had this to say:
We want this word to be policed from the parking lot to the equipment room to the locker room. Secretaries, PR people, whoever, we want it eliminated completely and want it policed everywhere.
Good to see John Wooten feels passionate about excluding the word from the game. Look for the verdict in the coming months.
