The hundred dollar man and his accomplice visit Combat in Brooklyn
Other than selling his album for a Ben Frank a pop back in September, there are many other reasons why Nipsey Hussle has been in news as of late. The independent success of his new album, Crenshaw, caught the attention of Jay Z, who copped $1,000 worth of the LP, and despite refusing to sign with a label or align with mainstream pop culture magazines agendas (i.e. Complex), Hussle has remained in the relevant rap stratosphere, and is currently on The Crenshaw Tour, which will bring the indie talent to stages nationwide, and certainly pad his bank account. Karen Civil falls in the same vein of self-made ideologies, using her social media talents and networking skills to go from interning for Funkmaster Flex to helping to engineer Beats by Dre’s new campaigns. Both of them share in depth stories and professional stories with Combat Jack for over an hour, and you can listen to the entire episode below:
